In special circumstances and during school holidays and at times where the home environment is not the best place for a child to be the BSB can help finance alternative accommodation. Holidays can be a long, daunting and challenging prospect. Families may be suffering ill health or financial hardship. The BSB provides support to those pupils, financing a safe place for them to be during the holidays.

Recently our relationship with the Pastoral Team at CH has also led to us providing other kinds of support for several pupils during the holidays, ranging from supermarket deliveries to travel passes.

As home life for some pupils is extremely challenging, it is an area where the school cannot practically provide ongoing support, but as part of the wider CH community we can.
