Thanks to the BSB, I was able to attend on one of the Rodolphus Foundation senior choral courses this summer. We stayed in Selwyn College at Cambridge University.

The course lasted a week and I was kept busy as everyday there was a full timetable of choir, sectionals, smaller consort group sessions and private lessons as well as masterclasses. During the week I had some wonderful opportunities. We sang Choral Evensong at Ely cathedral and at King’s College Chapel Cambridge, we also recorded a Choral Evensong for BBC radio 3. There were also many opportunities for solo singing, such as an informal concert, and three evening performance opportunities, as well as solo masterclasses.

This experience was amazing not only to sing in such esteemed places with well renowned choirmasters but the singing teachers helped to make me a much more well-rounded singer, given me a chance to expand my musical knowledge and gain in confidence.
